Adrian Ludlow, a novelist, is seeking obscurity in a house under the flight path to Gatwick Airport.
Sam Sharp, a friend and successful screen writer, calls on the way to LA. He is furious because of a vicious profile of himself written by journalist Fanny Tarrant, in a Sunday newspaper.
Together they decide to take revenge.
